BRIEF
The American Heart Association needed to explain to as many people as quickly as possible how to perform CPR in a memorable way.
IDEA
How do you explain hands-only CPR in a way people won’t soon forget? You set it to music...and license a song that is renowned and is exactly 100 beats per minute: the speed required to perform chest compressions properly.
STORY
We wanted to prove hands-only CPR is so simple, that even a child could do it. But how to make it entertaining? Well, that requires a family dinner interrupted by a cover band. Who hasn’t had that happen to them?
RESULT
Eventually translated into multiple languages, this video remains one of the most watched hands-only CPR videos in the world.
